They Met After 7 Years
"If I am not wrong, we know each other, right? And for your kind information, you are sitting on my seat," Bhuwan said, looking into her eyes.
She looked down to break the eye contact, then replied, "Whether we know each other or not, that is none of your business. And yeah, I'm sitting on my seat, Mister. So please, first confirm your seat number before talking to me..."
"Listen, Miss. First of all, you saved my picture without my permission and set it as your lock screen wallpaper, which clearly shows that you know me—or maybe we both know each other. And secondly, you are sitting on my seat. Now you're saying this isn't my seat?" he said.
"Show me proof that this is your seat. And that's not your picture—your picture is only present in the photo frame, the one I'm holding in that picture," she replied.
The train had already started and was soon leaving the station.
"See? You are sitting on my seat," he said, showing her his phone, where a confirmed ticket PDF was open on the screen.
"Wait a sec," she said, then opened her phone. After a moment, she said, "See? This is my seat," while showing her phone to Bhuwan.
"Impossible..." Bhuwan said, looking at her phone.
"Okay, let's wait for the TT," she said, putting her phone into her black-colored handbag.
"Hmm..." Bhuwan replied, then sat in front of her.
After 10 minutes, the TT came to check their tickets.
"Sir... I don't know how and why, but both of us have been confirmed for the same seat number Please do something," she said to the TT.
"Both of you, show me your tickets," the TT said.
They both showed their confirmed ticket PDFs to the TT.
After checking the tickets, the TT said, "There must be some technical issue. I'll report this to our team. But I'm really sorry, ma'am and sir—this time, you both will need to share the seat."
"What?" both of them said together after hearing the TT.
"I know it's awkward to share a seat with a stranger, but I'm sorry—I can't do anything," the TT said.
"We both know each other, don't we, Miss?" Bhuwan said, looking at her and raising his eyebrows.
"Oh... that's great then! Please adjust for this time. I'll make sure our team is more careful in the future," the TT said.
"Okay, sir," she replied.
"Thank you, Miss Farhana and Master Bhuwan, for your cooperation," the TT said, then left the place.
After hearing her name, Bhuwan realized who she was.
"Farhana...??" he asked as soon as the TT left.
Her heartbeat rose to around 145 when she heard her name in his voice. She was unable to say a single word.
After a moment, she replied, "Yes..."
"This is you, right? The one who was my junior during school time?"
"Yes... I'm the one who was your junior at school," she replied.
"You've totally changed," he said.
"I know," she replied.
The Next Day — Evening (05 September 2033)
When the train reached Haridwar Junction (HW), both of them got off the train together. After exiting the station—
"See you soon, Miss," he said.
"Hope to never meet you again," she replied.
Then both of them went their separate ways.
She joined Max Super Speciality Hospital, Dehradun, as she had been sent to collect reports related to heart surgeries done over the past two years. Later, her professor also instructed her to stay there and observe the condition of some patients in the hospital.
He went to his village and met his mom and dad.
"Where is my brother... Harshit?" he asked them.
"He's at college right now. He'll be back in 2–3 hours. You go and take some rest, my son," his mom replied.
"Alright, Mumma," he said and went to his room, then took a shower and lay down on his bed.
Meanwhile, when Harshit was coming back from college with his friends, he suddenly changed his route. His friends followed him too, since they had bunked class.
He stopped his bike in front of a large building named St. Joseph's Academy.
He saw a girl wearing a red saree and silver earrings, removing her hair away from her face with her right hand. His friends teased him by saying—
"Harshit, dekh... bhabhi aa gayi hai!"
("Harshit, look! Sister-in-law has arrived!")
Her face turned red—she was shy at that moment.
Meanwhile, he began singing lyrics in front of his gang:
"Soneya yu tera sharmana meri jaan na le le...
Kaan ke peechhe zulf chhupana meri jaan kya kehna..."
